About this product
- Zahidi dates has been used for seedless dates. Iraq is the origin of the palm date cultivar known as Zahidi (Arabic: ????).
- Its skin tone is pale brown. It’s a medium-sized, semi-dry date with lots of sweetness. Seedless dates are somewhat dry.
- This indicates that the sugar concentration is sucrose rather than fructose, as in the case of Medjool. In actuality, Seedless dates have less sugar than Medjool dates, yet they nevertheless have the same incredible, deep flavours! Translated as “nobility,” zahidi is also known as the “butter date” because of its flavour and colour.
